Being able to do a good job is important to us. This is why we take our time at the start to get to know your child and your goals. See our process below!
1. Free phone consultation
Part of placing your little one at the centre of care involves determining if our skills, resources and scope of practice are the right fit to work towards your goals.
If we’re not the right fit, we’ll do our best to suggest someone who might be.
2. Assessment and goal setting
We spend time getting to know you and your child, so that we can understand what is most important to you right now.
Often this includes play, caregiver interview and contact with other important people such as teachers or other therapists.
The types of goals you have will determine the location and frequency of sessions.
3. Therapy sessions
Therapy sessions are generally 45 minutes in length, and will take place in the location that best suits you and your child.
Sessions may include catching up on how things are going and making a plan for strategies to try until the next session.
We can review our goals at any time to celebrate our wins and make sure we’re still targeting what’s most important.
Location:
We are fully mobile, servicing locations with approximately 30 minutes of Ferny Hills.
Funding:
We are able to accept funding from Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS Participants. Unfortunately we are not currently able to see NDIA-Managed Participants.
Rates are charged at the standard NDIS hourly fee.
